Quik – Responsible for vlog intro and closing

Quik is another mobile application I have been using to integrate with my video blogs (vlogs). This is also one of the best mobile applications I’ve ever used since then. The user interface, the effects, the default sounds, everything comes all at one!

With this application, it only takes a few taps to create awesome videos using your smartphone. All you have to do is to select a photo or video clips you captured on your smartphone and Quik will do the magic! Within seconds, it will analyze the footage and finds great moments, automatically adds transitions and effects and synchronizes everything together with the beat of the music.

Customization can be done as long as you wish. You can add texts, music and filters of your preference and instantly share them with friends. This mobile application works on videos captured with your GoPro, smartphone or other device.

Features:

ADD YOUR PHOTOS + VIDEO CLIPS
Add up to 75 photos and video clips from your Gallery, Albums, Google Photos, Facebook or GoPro Plus.
Quik analyzes your video clips and selects great moments. Or you can select your own moments.
Quik detects faces and colors to frame each photo perfectly. You can also crop photos manually.

CHOOSE YOUR VIDEO STYLE
Choose from 25 video styles, each with carefully designed transitions and graphics.
Adjust the font, filters and graphics for any video style.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR VIDEO
Easily reorder photos, video clips and titles.
Trim video clips and frame photos to capture the perfect moment.
Personalize your story with text overlays and title slides. You can even add emojis 🙂
Change your video’s orientation from cinema to square for easy sharing on Instagram.
Set a custom duration for your video. Quik will adjust the cuts and transitions automatically.

PICK THE PERFECT SOUNDTRACK
Choose from more than 80 free songs, or use a song from your own collection.
Pick any point in the song to start your soundtrack.
Quik automatically syncs transitions to the beat of the music.

EASILY SAVE + SHARE YOUR VIDEO
Save videos to your camera roll in gorgeous HD 1080p or 720p.
Share your videos to Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook and more, or share via text or email.

As mentioned above, this is perfect if paired with the Adobe Premier Clip mobile application. My setup recommendation should always be like this:

Quik for the opening and closing part of the video. Adobe Premier Clip in compiling all the clips including the introduction and closing clips I rendered using Quik. Both aplications works best if used properly.

I’ve already used this and it’s a nice app with many great features. As much as possible, I want to do all editing using one app. Haha. But different apps have different highlights too. So I guess it’s a matter of knowing which is suitable for you. Good that you found a way to use both. I have yet to try that set up. 🙂

I feel like a cave man for not knowing these existing apps.
I believe you already featured this app on your previous article. (right? or was it you? I forgot. hehehe)
This’ll be very useful for me especially when I’m editing short clips on my phone. (not vlog though. but maybe. I mean maybe yes, maybe no.. ahhhh ewan!!! LOL)

Gotta check this out for iOS.

Haven’t heard of this app before, but it looks like it could get the job done. I am starting to consider doing vlogs in the foreseeable future, so this will prolly be installed in my phone soon. Lol. Thanks for the review!
